I'm praying for a mid 100K mark.

If not, I guess I could always see her live at my local Applebee's :gaycat:

One sale per day and I'm 100% pleased.

Shop SKIMS & SKKN BY KIM online! The Kardashians streaming now on Hulu and Disney+!

She has enough money to make music by herself, doesn't she?

the amount of money that goes into a commercial album, she'll be bankrupt at the end of it....

We'll see her doing promos at local bars instead of TV ..... oh wait

It probably will be in the 100,000s somewhere. Then probably dip into the five digit numbers the next week.

I don't really care about sales. I don't get why even after the ARTPOP mess, some little monsters still care about charts...

ARTPOP was just one album it's not like she couldn't make a comeback.

Joanne is her indie debut, wait for LG6 aka the pop comeback of the millennium :sis:

I'l think it'll sell more than 1/10 of the single. I think that ratio is too much. :laughga:

But I still want her to debut at no. 1 at least. ARTPOP managed to do that. Please. (But it is fine to me if it won't.)

I really hope it'll sell at least 145.000 copies with streaming, so a #1 is definitely possible for me. :reductive:

I don't think we should worry about the other releases in the USA.

Michael Buble is big competition, he will do at least 150k pure sales

Joanne has a good chance going #1 after the superbowl tho

Tragic even with streaming! Just look at how poorly PI is with streaming. She has the potential to sell like Beyoncé and Taylor (which she has in the past) but people are just over her.

Also it doesn't matter when streaming took off. If people are interested, they'll listen

She has the potential. That doesn't mean that she's going to do it.

Her releasing an album like Joanne is a sign that she's not going to take that route anymore, or at the very least, for this album in particular. If she wanted to become super famous again, then she would have continued working with RedOne, make a purely pop record, and not work with people like Florence, Beck, and Father John Misty.

Joanne's the sign of the type of artist she's becoming. Now, things could change with the Super Bowl, but she's also already said that Joanne will not be radio-friendly.

Its not tragic, its just the world of music these days. She could achieve way more if she was a leading streaming power but streaming really took off right when Gaga started her break from pop music.

Didn't streaming take off around the AP era? Applause did really well in streams if I remember the stats correctly.

Imagine if she released a radio friendly pop album in 2018 and wasted the biggest promo spot in the world on her indie album :air:

Well, that's also sort of my point. We're seeing Gaga evolve, and if you're going to expect big mega hits from this album, maybe you're expecting the wrong thing.

Then again, some people have said songs like A-Yo are huge bangers, so we'll just have to wait and see :D

Then why even do SB? If she doesn't want all the distraction then why do something that mega pop superstars do? I obviously get she doesn't care about the charts anymore but she sends a lot of mixed signals and as fans it's frustrating cause all we want is for her to succeed

The only thing that will happen is TF/TFM going up the chart again
