I'd make a post about new members being messy and bringing down morale, but matter of fact it's the older members being ****w*ts :lana:

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

Watch her change her twitter name from Lady Gaga to Joanne in a few days. B!tch, I hope this record delivers because I'm not feeling the whole "erase the fame" thing.:classy:

You guys are having a meltdown over nothing. She's saying, as she's said COUNTLESS times this era, that her journey leading up and into this era has been about her exploring who she is without the context of fame, which has been a huge theme of her work. She's saying that it's the Gaga that she's always been, but the work isn't going to be about fame (a la 'music, not the bling') in any respect: conceptually or financially. She's making a statement about finding yourself outside of the context of public approval. What's wrong with that? Gaga has always been about going against the grain. Right now, fame/celebrity culture is potentially more overly-saturating our lives than it ever has. Gaga is taking a step away from that, looking at her roots and writing something that doesn't come with the lens of 'fame' in the way her work has in the past. I, personally, think that's very cool and really inspiring. I agree with her that we all tend to obsess over how others look at us and try to construct the 'perfect' images of ourselves and our lives and Gaga, instead, is trying to look more honestly at her life (as opposed to presenting it within the context of her past creative concepts).

Think about it. This is the first record she's done since the fame that she didn't write and record most of on the road. As a result of that, it's going to be a 180. She's had time to sit with herself and reflect on her life, instead of primarily responding to her experiences with fame, her experiences on the road and rumination on the work she would've been performing at that time. It's coming from a fresh place. Just keep your mind open. You have every right not to like it, but try not to get so caught up in what you think it should be and look at it for what it is instead.
