It really comes off as almost entitled when someone draws fan art of you and you respond negatively. She says "it's beautiful" but it sounds like a throwaway comment so it's not all negative. She would have been better off promoting pieces that she felt represented her better. "I'm glad you drew me as I am!" It's praise for an artist while also promoting a good ideal (accurate body representation). Demi has good intentions but she mucks up the execution more often than not and ends up coming off as preachy. It's good that she cares about these idealized images of women's bodies, even if she may not always live up to her own standards (none of us always live up to our own standards).
