Don't want to get any more warning points for voicing my opinion. This site is honestly so oppressive. Why join a forum if you can't handle different viewpoints? The thing with Little Complainers is that the album hasn't even dropped and they are already acting like it's a sure-fire flop. As I have said in many threads before, disliking PI is one thing, and that is your opinion and you're entitled to that. I respect that. But it is another thing to i) claim the whole Joanne era is over before it hasn't even fully started, ii) jump ship and give up on PI less than 2 days after release (believe me this happened to many """monsters""") and iii) say nothing but negative things in each and every thread, and actively and intentionally doing so, too or worse, doing all three of the above. giskardsb 12,565
Great post. Pop fans can be way too myopic. For Gaga pop was the first step on her career ladder, it's not the top of the ladder. Her aims are for a much broader and varied career that explores all her talents. She doesn't do "side projects", they are different facets to her overall career. Pop fans who don't get this concept will be very disappointed with the way the rest of her career plays out and should probably just stan for someone who clearly considers pop to be their only job. Beyonce doesn't need huge hits to sell Lemonade. I think Joanne will follow the footstep of these albums. Some albums sell a lot despite not generating huge hit-singles. Not to mention Perfect Illusion is not doing that bad, just not as good as Bad Romance or Born This Way did. Agreed. And TBH, based on what I've seen, the GP likes JoanneGa way more than ARTPOPGa. Even when it comes to PI vs. Applause.
