YaaaasGaga 6,119 Posted September 30, 2016 Share Posted September 30, 2016 Tbh I think if she had guest performers she should only invite massive legends in order to cement herself as 'above' the current pop roster of musicians and show that she isn't making music for the charts, she's making music to be remembered for for years to come with much more emphasis on artistry and intelligence than current pop stars. Like, imagine if she was joined by Bono, Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder, Linda Perry, Madonna, Elton John, Tina Turner, even Aretha Franklin(her an Gaga are on Bennett's 90th bday special, and have both done tributes to Carole King so not out of the realm of possibility). Having these people support her at The Super Bowl would send a message that she is headed for the greats and that she isn't interested in being number one and having the hottest, cutest #1 single of the summer on capital radio etc etc. It would put her in the single biggest line up they've ever had, and all of these artists respect her and it would appeal to the older crowd who avidly still buy records physically.
