Every article about her claims "Kim Kardashian West has banished the notion that she’s 'famous for nothing'", but I'm still waiting for the receipts.

She's aging beautifully.

I don't get the hate around her. Sure she's 'famous for nothing', but she built an entire empire around that notion, and that's incredible. So in a way she did do something.

That goes to her family as well, especially Kendall and Kylie. They might not seem like it, but they're hard workers.

What can you say about Kim? I think she's ok and I'm not someone who would be assumed to think that way. I think she's a beautiful woman and she's good at what she does. Maybe it's not the career most people would be encouraged to strive for but hey, she's working. Yes, it may not be work like 9-5 civilians know it but she still does a job that she gets paid for - that's more than some socialites and heiresses do - a lot of them live completely off their parents wealth. I think it's sweet how much she really loves Kanye and her kids (despite what people might think, she is pictured with them a lot and really, how many celebrities do all the childcare?) and I respect her for standing up for her man. And from what I've gathered from hotel staff who've been around her, she's apparently very polite and tips handsomely. She once said how her father instilled manners and business sense in her and it shows.

The only thing is, I hope Kanye doesn't control her too much. This stuff about how he dictates what she wears really unnerves me. When she talked about how he made her throw out all her clothes that he didn't deem cool enough after their first date was rather...disturbing. I think a woman should decide how she wants to dress - a man can't possibly know how she feels in a very different style. Apparently there are rumours that she's sacked him as her stylist now, though, and wants to go back to her "2007 It girl" look back when she was friends with Paris Hilton. If it makes her feel comfortable, I hope she does it. The sight of her trussed up like an oven-ready turkey in foil and wearing fisherman's waders is getting really hard to bear. Although that outfit that she wore in NY - the bra top, denim jacket and shorts, transparent knee-high boots and diamond choker? I think she looked amazing, yet everyone trashed her for it. Could have given the shorts a miss, though.

Oh, and also, Billboard is an all-round entertainment magazine and she's a tv star, so that's why she's on the cover. I only have an issue when non-singers cover the likes of full-blown music publications like Rolling Stone.
