I'm serious... Are you guys ready to keep stanning for Gaga as she approaches what seems to be the most irrelevant era of her career? 

 

This post is not satire. I've been "Gaga's biggest fan" in my daily life for the last 8 years. Everyone (EVERYONE) who knows me knows that I find some of my biggest inspiration in life from Gaga's artistic output. 

But 'Joanne' era is shaping up to be her biggest "flop" era of her career. And I'm not sure that I'm going to enjoy the album beyond the first 4 or 5 listens. 

 

Are you ready to keep stanning? Or will you move on to greener pastures? 

I will continue to stan for 2008 - early 2016 Gaga until the day I die. But I'm honestly not sure yet if I can stan for 'Joanne.' I strongly get the feeling that Gaga may have "lost it" with this project when it comes to her artistry. ALL of these interviews are making me absolutely CRINGE. It's like I don't even know her anymore. I honestly hope that I look back on this post next month after hearing the album and think "how foolish was I to doubt her?!" ... but sitting here today at the end of September, I'm really not sure if I'm going to be here for this era. 

I'm sure the music will be "good enough" but I'm not sure if it will be stan-worthy. 

I JUST DON'T KNOW. 

All the "insider" info makes it sound like the kind of album that I actively avoid!! The polar opposite of what I show up to the Gaga show for. 

I mean, the "Jeff" review yesterday left me feeling like.... 

Anyway the point is... Regardless of what 'Joanne' turns out to be... Are you ready to keep the Gaga flame alive even if you aren't here for this project?

Because I am. Gaga deserves to be remembered as a legend. She's one of the greats. It's on us, sistrens. We have to keep the dream alive.

Gaga is bigger than an "era." She's earned her right to explore her artistic interests beyond my personal taste. I will keep on stanning, even if I'm let down with Joanne. Becuase I love Gaga and I love what she represents.

Edit: If she doesn't start promoting in a typical way tho I'm going to give up completely anyway. I honestly don't really care about this album right now and I feel like its because shes not making it that exciting. No point in hyping when I don't even feel the hype from her.

I will support her no matter what... I've loved her since the beginning and I don't see it coming to an end. I may not like some things she has been doing, but I will always stan her!

Atleast it'll give me a bigger chance of meeting her if she is less popular...

I'm definitely ready to stan for the album, but as for the entire era as a whole, I mean if there are no performances then idk what we'll be doing besides listening to JOANNE on replay. I just really want/need at least a week of TV performances/interviews, not bcos I give a **** abt her promoting it for the charts, but I just wanna see more of her fking fantastic performances like she always does. Even the ARTPOP era had a few iconic performances.

Of course gaga has a special place in my heart, I'm not gonna let one album or song I don't like get in the way.. She's too talented to be ignored and her previous work will always be there to remind me how amazing she is

Absolutely. It doesn't matter what kind of music she's making, I will alway love it  (including Perfect Illusion)

In fact I can barely remember any Gaga songs I don't like/hate (excluding pre-The Fame songs)

And to answer your question, yes I will. She's had way too much of a profound impact on my life and music. Plus I genuinely like PI and probably Joanne.
