I'll add these to the OP

These American school shootings often inspire school shootings in other countries in the world, I know about some cases.

Scary stuff.

I've updated the OP with good news. The teacher and one student is okay; however there isn't any info available about the other though.

Any motive yet? Was this a school he used to go to? It's said that we live in a world where children feel the need to go out and kill other children. And the right will probably still be in refusal to acknowledge that we need to remove guns from the equation. Prepare to hear the "if the teacher had a gun this wouldn't have happened" argument.

The fact of the matter is, this child got the gun from a member of his family or from a friend who had legally purchased the gun. Had guns become illegal long ago, this child wouldn't have had the opportunity to do something like this. And no one would ever need a gun. Get rid of them. Quickly.

Still think that regulation isn't a good idea?

Guns are already regulated, silly. There are 271 federal laws alone. :emma:

How many times does this cycle of events need to happen before something is done?

Until "something" is done? "Something" is always done.

Be specific. What changes would you like to see?

In what countries are guns illegal? Uh... North Korea? China? Hm. Says something about that idea.

well obviously they must be BS laws like "guns must always be colorless" or "guns must never be shot @ 56.927° or you must touch your toes and sing a Katy Perry song to save yourself from the rain gods, who will conciquently ruin your day" like this **** shouldn't be happening.

There isn't anything about motive released yet. He was homeschooled.

Guns are strictly prohibited in many countries, such as Canada, Japan, and England. With focus on Canada, to be able to possess a firearm:

"Gun owners pursuing a license must have third-party references, take a safety training course and pass a background check with a focus on mental, criminal and addiction histories" (Business Insider, 2013).

These laws have not changed. And the key in Canada is there is no legal right to possess firearms. In turn only 173 (out of a population of 35 million) people a year die in Canada from a homocide involving guns.
