PunkTheFunk 125,703
Can't seeing it happening our my lifetimes tbh As people said, we set foot on the moon almost 50 years ago and we still haven't set up a colony. The first manned mission to Mars will probably be in the 2030s/40s. Let's say it takes them another 40 years after that to fully establish a colony (they need to establish steady sources of food and water, etc.) By that time it'll be the 2080s/90s and I'll be dead/in a retirement home while my great grandchildren write their ungrateful selves into my will

We're colonizing the solar system! THE EARTH GALACTIC EMPIRE BEGINS! Fingers crossed the mission is successful. I would hate for it to not be. I am desperate for life to be out there and for us humans to realize are errors and to begin new. If All You Ever Do Is Look Down On People, You Won't Be Able To Recognize Your Own Weaknesses. The owner of SpaceX (Elon Musk) also invests heavily in improving our planet as well as exploring space. He owns companies that promote solar power & other renewable energy sources (who also offer emergency power to areas after natural disasters) & is developing self-driving cars to minimise road accidents.
