At this point I'm hopeful, and I'm happy we have great music coming. Its just I don't feel like theres effort in this album. No effort with Style, MV, Creative, Promotion.... Am I the only one who prefers Gaga to just stop making albums, but just making good songs for free on youtube/spotify without involving any corporations. That video, "simple" as it was, cost more than the first weeks gross income. Albums at least sell at a higher price point, and its likely near album release that Gaga will concentrate promo opportunities, especially when Pi and Joanne are being released in close proximity. It's this generation that will cause the death of high concept videos. That's only scratching at the surface of what she has achieved. I think those who are worried due to a potential lack of funding for projects or a tour have tiny bit of legitimacy but even then, not only is it so highly unlikely that Gaga won't be able to make videos or tour, the video for G.U.Y was self funded and TF Ball was low budget but genuinely a brilliant show - she doesn't need to fill stadiums to be entertaining and she doesn't need much money to make compelling music videos. But from Gaga's perspective what does she have left to prove? Why should she care where her song charts? She has been the biggest star on the planet, she has been there and done that. From her perspective, why wouldn't she just make great songs that she loves and not worry about charts? yeah she doesn't need to prove anything. As a fan though I believe she has the potential to be the biggest star the world has ever or will see so I want her to have commercial success etc and continue having an impact but I'm not too interested in that either. I'm a lady gaga fan because I love everything about what she puts out to the world through messages fashion music etc I think she is awesome and at the end of the day we are fans if we want success in the charts then do it yourself you know we only follow gaga we have no control so you either enjoy it which I am and you are bebe or leave and stop complaining because I'm so excited for Joanne and the new tour just everything Gaga related that we really don't need negativity on her main fansite. Also I have a question: Has Gaga gained lots of money from PI alone I mean with it charting hit everywhere gaining lots of streams views and radio play doesn't that earn her millions alone? Its full of exciting moments, its electrifying the whole thing, and she looks awesome in the video, so cool I love her hair and the choreo is cool. She has promoted it on radios. Do we really want her to look desperate like Iggy Azalea did with Team for example going on every tv show possible to force feed new music to the public. Gaga is a big name if the people like the music they will buy it they're not stupid she doesn't need to do too much promo just let her do what she wants!
