NickiMinajStan 6,892 Posted September 24, 2016 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I want her to have Kiss, Foo Fighters, Green Day or Metallica as guests (I KNOW I'm reaching for the stars with Metallica and Green Day, but one man can dream, fans have been requesting Metallica to book the Superbowl for AGES, and although they're kinda unfitting for the event, just a single song like "Fuel" or "Enter Sandman" would be amazing, and could please the male audience). About the performance, I trust her 100%, just some, actually humble, good intentioned suggestions (because I know for sure she reads our mess): * No "humble" GaGa. People fell in love with the mysterious, sci-fi looking popstar. Even though she is in a different phase artistically wise with the new record (which I celebrate, since I enjoy change), the Superbowl is watched by casual listeners, not hardcore fans. And the general audience always had a thing for cold-hearted-vixen GaGa, not the most human version she has been exploring with her art lately. I think a fierce, effective rendition of her hits, with good-looking yet weird outfits will be the best choice. No need to cry and show the audience how honored she is to be there. She has to OWN the stage and make THEM feel honored to be in her presence. * No heavy choreo in every song. It has been a problem during ARTPOP's promotional performances. Heavily choreographed performances affect her vocals and may result in a weak spectacle. In songs like "Applause", "Do What U Want" and "Perfect Illusion" she should tone the body movements down, in order for the vocals to be on point, the back dancers can do the choreo anyways. Other tracks like "Bad Romance", Paparazzi", "Poker Face" and "Alejandro", can have her doing the choreo though, since she's proven to be capable of doing a good job with both vocals and dancing for those acts. * No weird "rock n' roll" body shaking. That thing she does with her body during songs she considers intense (I.E: "Do What U Want", "Perfect Illusion"), looks really bad, silly and does not actually fit the songs (GaGa I ADORE you, but you're not playing Nirvana songs, and even if you wear, that shaking looks exaggerated and forced). It would make the performance look amateurish. Plus, there is no need to exaggerate some "masculine" movements for those songs to rock, you can just be your sexy self while performing them, and they'll still rock. OMG - I thought I was the only one who felt that way about her awkward shaking(to say the least) during some of her performances...
