DiscoHeaven23 35,007
In the last year there have been three pop girls who have had moderate success and are looking to become the next big thing. These girls are Zara Larsson, Alessia Cara and Daya. I decided to put a thread together of their singles performances on the Billboard Hot 100. Will any of these girls break free and become massive?  Zara Larsson is my favorite of the three girls. Her music and her personality have me hooked. But it seems like she can't find the success she's having internationally, in the US. Hoping this turns around for her!  When Alessia Cara's "Here" came out, I wasn't really a fan. But then she released "Wild Things" and "Scars To Your Beautiful", i fell in love with both. Kinda turing into a fan.  Daya has the biggest hit of the three girls, but its as a feature artist. She hasn't had a lead hit go Top 20 yet, but that could always change.  UPDATED: February 1, 2017   DAYA Hide Away (2015/2016) 1st Week: #97 2nd Week: #100 3rd Week: #93 4th Week: #89 5th Week: #85 6th Week: #80 7th Week: #76 8th Week: #71 9th Week: #75 10th Week: #61 11th Week: #53 12th Week: #48 13th Week: #41 14th Week: #42 15th Week: #31 16th Week: #33 17th Week: #31 18th Week: #30 19th Week: #24 20th Week: #25 21st Week: #24 22nd Week: #26 23rd Week: #23 - PEAK POSITION 24th Week: #31 25th Week: #37 26th Week: #41 27th Week: #46 (knocked out) Sit Still, Look Pretty (2016) 1st Week: #100 2nd Week: #86 3rd Week: #83 4th Week: #75 5th Week: #69 6th Week: #69 7th Week: #61 8th Week: #64 9th Week: #62 10th Week: #62 11th Week: #56 12th Week: #36 13th Week: #29 14th Week: #28 - PEAK POSITION 15th Week: #28 16th Week: #32 17th Week: #29 18th Week: #33 19th Week: #32 20th Week: #31 21st Week: #33 22nd Week: #34 23rd Week: #36 24th Week: #38 (knocked out)    As feature artist: Don't Let Me Down (2016/2017) *20 weeks in Top 10 (so far)* 1st Week: #85 2nd Week: #81 3rd Week: #76 4th Week: #63 5th Week: #54 6th Week: #31 7th Week: #25 8th Week: #22 9th Week: #17 10th Week: #14 11th Week: #14 12th Week: #7 13th Week: #7 14th Week: #6 15th Week: #5 16th Week: #5 17th Week: #4 18th Week: #4 19th Week: #4 20th Week: #3 - PEAK POSITION 21st Week: #3 22nd Week: #5 23rd Week: #5 24th Week: #6 25th Week: #6 26th Week: #8 27th Week: #8 28th Week: #7 29th Week: #5 30th Week: #5 31st Week: #5 32nd Week: #7 33rd Week: #9 34th Week: #9 35th Week: #13 36th Week: #15 37th Week: #17 38th Week: #17 39th Week: #23 40th Week: #23 41st Week: #23 42nd Week: #29 43rd Week: #31 44th Week: #43 45th Week: #34 46th Week: #37 47th Week: #29 48th Week: #32 49th Week: #33 50th Week: #34 (still charting)    Peaks on Pop Radio Hide Away: #7 Sit Still Look Pretty: #8 Words: #31 Don’t Let Me Down: #1     ALESSIA CARA Here (2015/2016)  *11 weeks in Top 10* 1st Week: #95 2nd Week: #85 3rd Week: #79 4th Week: #62 5th Week: #66 6th Week: #58 7th Week: #55 8th Week: #47 9th Week: #41 10th Week: #29 11th Week: #23 12th Week: #20 13th Week: #15 14th Week: #13 15th Week: #11 16th Week: #10 17th Week: #10 18th Week: #8 19th Week: #8 20th Week: #8 21st Week: #7 22nd Week: #8 23rd Week: #9 24th Week: #6 25th Week: #5 - PEAK POSITION 26th Week: #10 27th Week: #12 28th Week: #19 29th Week: #21 30th Week: #26 31st Week: #33 32nd Week: #32 33rd Week: #39 34th Week: #47 (knocked out) Wild Things (2016) 1st Week: #91 2nd Week: #80 3rd Week: #69 4th Week: #66 5th Week: #58 6th Week: #60 7th Week: #60 8th Week: #56 9th Week: #52 10th Week: #57 11th Week: #56 12th Week: #51 13th Week: #53 14th Week: #50 - PEAK POSITION 15th Week: #50 16th Week: #51 17th Week: #52 18th Week: #58 19th Week: #66 20th Week: #77 (knocked out) Scars to Your Beautiful (2016/2017) *1 week in Top 10 (so far)* 1st Week: #95 2nd Week: #79 3rd Week: #62 4th Week: #58 5th Week: #51 6th Week: #46 7th Week: #42 8th Week: #36 9th Week: #30 10th Week: #24 11th Week: #22 12th Week: #17 13th Week: #15 14th Week: #15 15th Week: #13 16th Week: #18 17th Week: #14 18th Week: #15 19th Week: #12 20th Week: #13 21st Week: #13 22nd Week: #10 (still charting)  How Far I'll Go (2016)  *From Moana Soundtrack* 1st Week: #88 2nd Week: #94 3rd Week: #81 4th Week: #69 5th Week: #58 6th Week: #59 7th Week: #56 8th Week: #68 (still charting)   Peaks on Pop Radio Here: #1 Wild Things: #14 Scars To Your Beautiful: #1      ZARA LARSSON Never Forget You (2016) 1st Week: #83 2nd Week: #58 3rd Week: #34 4th week: #22 5th Week: #19 6th Week: #17 7th Week: #15 8th Week: #15 9th Week: #15 10th Week: #16 11th Week: #26 12th Week: #23 13th Week: #14 14th Week: #13 - PEAK POSITION 15th Week: #13 16th Week: #14 17th Week: #16 18th Week: #22 19th Week: #28 20th Week: #33 21st Week: #36 22nd Week: #40 23rd Week: #49 (knocked out)  Lush Life (2016) 1st Week: #97 2nd Week: #100 3rd Week: #75 - PEAK POSITION (knocked out)  Ain't My Fault (2016) 1st Week: #85 2nd Week: #85 3rd Week: #86 4th Week: #90 5th Week: #83 6th Week: #79 7th Week: #76 - PEAK POSITION (knocked out)   Peaks on Pop Radio Never Forget You: #5 Lush Life: #39 Ain't My Fault: #26

Miel 15,009
I like them all. Like, none of them blow me away, but they're talented. I love Hide Away. 3 points in and ready for more
holy scheisse 20,620
Ahh yes. The latest batch of young gurls capitalism would like to feed the youth  lol. I like Alessia
XMonsterMonster 1,555
I only heard about Alessia Cara. And I find her music quite good, so I hope she will be successful. Her song Here is a bop, after one year it still slays me. Don't know who are those other two
Fernster7 7,838
I'm rooting for all of them except Alessia, there's something about her that I don't like. I wish her success but not too much to the point that I'll always have to see her on TV, etc. We have two selves. One the world needs us to be, compliant, and the shadow. Ignore it and life is forever suffering.
EdX 2,854
I only like Alessia out of all three. She's the most talented, I think. And I LOVE 'Here' & 'Wild Things'.

Zara's music is snooze city. She's annoying and hella desperate. Alessia music is ehh but does she even have a personality? I don't mind Daya so much I guess but I don't know anything about her and she doesn't bring anything new from what I've heard. So basically if these are the new girls we're screwed because it only means more generic, basic, expendable music in the mainstream.

donutellha 13,819
Oh all the tragic people, Alessia Cara please. Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.
Cody Draco 2,531
Hide Away and Here are good pop songs, among the very few I have enjoyed in the past couple years, but none of these ladies interest me as artists.
