Joanne is the last album of Gaga's 5-record Interscope deal!

Idk if this was mentioned but Gaga signed a 5 album recording contract with Interscope. Well, the time flew by and here we are at her fifth and final obligation to the label! Could this be why Interscope is giving her so much control? Technically she's done more than they would have expected for her in the little amount of time she's been with them. So it makes sense that they would take a more laid-back approach. Why stress her out when her contract is basically up..

This is exciting news to me because I think Gaga won't sign to another label and will finally have complete control of her career without the approval of some old white CEO who knows nothing about music. Like Beyoncé did with BEYONCÉ & Lemonade after leaving her label behind and venturing off as her own boss.

I did think about this when she posted the "LG5 Time" on Instagram last year. Hope she does what you stated and goes off on her own becoming her own Boss! She would have full control of what she is doing meaning she can do whatever the **** she wants. and I would be totally here for it!!

I'm excited; I hope (after this era ends, and she releases another jazz album with Tone) she takes a break, settles down, gets married, has some kids, raise them, and maybe make another record on her own label.  She needs that!

It would certainly be interesting to have at least one era where she does whatever she pleases with her sound and promotion given the large amount of money she's amassed in her career thus far.
