Are we supposed to forget who she used to be? :oprah:

I feel like everyone needs to decide if they want to be a fan or Gaga as an ARTIST and be willing to follow where she goes, or if you're just a fan on the sound and aesthetic she had in 2009.

People like what they are told to like.

Then Whitney Houston-Michael Jackson-Celine Dion-Mariah Carey all those artists ruled the charts were liked because people were told to? you mean these singers were  just popular?

Please enough with Chainsmokers not talented, these days songs suck thing. There are beautiful songs on the charts and Chainsmokers are good too.Its ymost of the Gagadaily that think GP as not humans. They are human they have ears and if they like the song ( as happened in 80s with Michael Jackson) they listen and that song make the charts.Thats why these days Beyonce's songs doesnt make high on the charts because GP doesnt like her songs, not hit material. So at least they understand whats good or not..........

ITS THAT SIMPLE

For me they never were important, and I still don't get people who obsess over it.

I didn't become such a die-hard stan of Gaga cause she was #1.

By that logic I'd stan for anyone who ever had a hit single.

What About Us

I find it useless to obsess over chart positions all the time like I don't record a version of the charts or do a Billboard Top 100 dance. I'm here for good quality music and I haven't really cared about the charts even during the time of Just Dance when I first became a Gaga fan.

Promise I'll always be there. Promise I'll be the cure.

Music has become like fast food. It's churned out to satisfy people in the moment but it doesn't have any longevity. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who "gets" Gaga (in my town and social circle anyway) because people go on about how she's just another pop star making meaningless pop tunes but they don't realise that she makes good quality music, and we all love Bad Romance 6 years later but nothing that Katy, One Direction, Bieber is going to be a classic that will be looked back on as great music. It's all forgetful. Just a bunch of earworms created to make money.

I didn't know how good the 90s were until the year 2000 - when bands like Blur and Smashing Pumpkins played along the En Vogue and Celine Dion.

Radio currently plays the same 20 songs over and over again.

Matchbox 20, Spice Girls, NSYNC, Britney Spears, 3 Doors Down, Limp Bizkit. They were all dominant artists of the 90s and they were all different and unique. I just dont know what happened.
