The tour grossed more than 194.7 million US Dollars (228,542,704 in 2016 dollars) from 60 shows. It became the highest grossing tour ever for a female artist. The previous record was held by Cher and her Farewell Tour. The record was then broken by herself and her Sticky & Sweet Tour in 2008, which became the highest grossing tour by a solo artist, earning US $408 million ($450,021,405 in 2016 dollars) Confessions Tour is also recognized as the highest-grossing music tour per concert in the 2007 edition of the Guinness World Records, with $3.2 million ($3,756,223 in 2016 dollars) grossed per concert.
