If its a genuine rock album, I feel like the name and ascetic of the cover really don't match that.

What do you think of this cover's aesthetic?

I think this works better as "rock" cover. I think the colors of Joanne (pink and blue pastels) makes it feel like an indie/hipster record. More like a light and airy sound.

yup

it will be chaotic and messy but with electric guitar instead of the edm breakdowns

why can't gaga just do a cute chill album for once

her music is always so angry and messy

For those complaining/negative...

Born This Way is rock. MANiCURE is rock. Teeth is rock. Rock is something that is innately Gaga, and always has been; her influences, her sound, her look. PI is rock, and still disco/glam influenced. Don't knock the album until you've heard it.

So, I've been thinking about the  album this morning.  At first, I was conflicted because I do love my BTW Gaga but that era can always be revisited anytime I need it. I've grown a lot since then and a ton of life has happened since. Never was I quick to judge the album based on PI.  To me, if PI was going to be a single it would have to be first single because coming after other songs may make it sound weaker than what it actually is (and I don't find it all that weak.)  I have a feeling we are in for a different sound from her but with flavors and nods to her signature sounds mixed in as well.  To think of this album as having some kicka$$ rock moments?  I'm here for it.  A lot of us have wished for that anyway.  BTW had them too!  So this has me fully excited now. I predict the second single to really bring forth that great old "OMG!!!!!!!!" factor we've all grown to know and love.  Now, if only we can get that link and preorder this thing, we'll be on our right path babies.  ✌️🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Maybe the Dirty Pearls will even open for Joanne Ball?

:excited2:

I kept on rewatching that performance when she crashed the Dirty Pearls' show. She was deunk af but the way she sings impromptu was magical.
