Let's consider the fact that ARTPOP came out after BTW, a very successful album. Applause and Dope both reached Top 10 I believe. What was the third? However, was Dope a successful single or was it's #8 position due to excitement from fans hearing a new promo single? I wouldn't say that that ARTPOP ended her career. I never said that, so there's no need to use quotations. ARTPOP just didn't live up to the successful that Gaga and us fans were familiar with. Again, #1s don't equal success. And I think that Gaga is okay with that right now. She seems very excitement about the process of creating music and bond among producers, writers, etc rather than waiting to see how much it'll sell. Furthermore, as a fan, hearing her focus on other non chart related business is refreshing to hear in such a rough industry. In some ways the Oscars and National Anthem did way more to benefit success for Gaga rather than a #1 hit. Do you get my drift? ARTPOP didn't end her career, but it might have refocused her on what's more important and interesting in terms of what she can deliver to her audience. Thank you. ARTPOP did not remotely end her career. It was already struggling prior. Regardless, ARTPOP was a success...it simply didn't mirror previous projects of hers.
