Stupid question: 

Haven't all of gagas albums been personal? She's written almost every word, and those words have come from her, therefore they are all in direct correlation with her moods and thoughts and feelings at the time. 

If anything, TF should have been the most alienating because most of us don't dream about and chase fame. It really all just depends on the content, context, and delivery
