If Joanne is a failure chartwise you can say goodbye to gaga having legendary status. She's had 2 /(3 if you include the fame monster) successful albums over 8 years abs all the best work spanning 2008-2011. That was 5 years ago! She'll be forgotten and dropped. It's not enough be a legend. I couldn't agree more with u Spoiler Shameless selfpromo

Like you would think as an artist it would be a fantastic feeling to have your song be a top ten hit but I guess Gaga just doesn't really appreciate it. Because it's such a low honor now to be quite honest. Look at the top 10 right now. The songs are all objectively average. Every song on the radio right now sounds the same. No one is doing anything out of the box: it's all trap or that chill sounding music. I, for one, am glad that Gaga doesn't really care for top 10's anymore cause it just goes to show how little it even means in regards to quality. I'm growing evermore fed up with people on this site being so damn concerned with Gaga getting a top 10 hit or the possibility of having a flop era. Like, just let it go. Gaga is doing what she's always wanted to do, and she is ready for the consequences. She knows Perfect Illusion isn't likely to be a massive hit, but she doesn't care either. She loves the song so much, she's proud of it, and she wanted to share it with the world. That's what is important to her. She doesn't want to release music she herself doesn't even like just to appeal to us. Our music tastes and inspirations are ever changing, and that's no different for Gaga. She may return to pop music in the future, but for the time being, that's just not where her inspirations or wants are taking her. Gaga is doing something she likes and she isn't going to take that away from herself just to appeal to some lousy fans that judge her whenever she does something they don't like. This album is going to be a masterpiece whether certain fans like it or not. I can guarantee you that when Madonna came out with Ray of Light, it wasn't what anyone was expecting or wanted, but look at what it came to be today. Do not doubt her- Gaga has still got it. Not all of us make opinions based off charts or how much something sells. We have the backbone to support an artist regardless of the charts and don't need it to make us feel good about ourselves. We can just enjoy the music and not be OBSESSED with numbers and how popular the artist is. So you're the one who's tragic, and everyone like you who can't form an opinion without charts to say it's okay to like. what lmao how what we said has anything to do with the charts bye what u talking about imma cut a bitch

Why would she do 1000s of radio interviews the first two weeks it would be out why would she have a 24 hour radio deal with the biggest radio company iheartradio. Why would ahs have it as promo, why would she debut the music video on the premier night of scream queens that's going to have millions of viewers. Why would the do all this Spotify promo. Also in all those interviews I mentioned she never once mentioned this was her "starting over" or becoming and indie artist. THIS! Se didn't do any TV promo but she went to every big radio station in USA and UK, she had radio deal, spotify adverts etc. The song came out a week ago! Of course she will perform on TV! The reactions are hilarious
