It can't go up and if it does, it won't matter because it's not the debut. Nevermind that it was #1 in France, and well within top 10 in some other European countries. Billboard debut week is the end all be all. Noted Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

(I'd be happy if it did, but let's be real - the quality is just not there) It's just not a good song. The faster we move on to single #2 the better. Borislshere 52,994
how don't you understand it?? Perfect illusion is a flop and she deserves all the hate she is getting for not getting a number 1 song!!!1!1 Spoiler i'm being completely sarcastic. But honestly these people have nothing better to do and it's best to just ignore them. If you like the music that's all that matters.
REALITY 76,234
People really just want to boost their own ego. Gaga's success on the charts shouldn't have an impact on how you enjoy the artist and music. I feel like people subconsciously are doing it so that they feel like they can brag to other fandoms. Like, how does Gaga's success affect you? She has more than enough money to sustain a living, she's in the music industry because she loves it. It's her passion, it's her art. Success =/= Happiness; and last time I checked, we loved the artist, not the charts. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

Her commercial fall off is unprecedented yes, but so is her decline in musical ability and uniqueness as an artist. The fact that she was holed up in the studio with Kevin Parker and Mark Ronson, and this song that sounds barely any better than a DJWS demo was the best single they could muster? Completely embarrassing, and hearing her then go on the radio dozens of times and giving the same copy+pasted long-winded description of such a hilariously trite and basic song is even moreso. The sheer irony of Gaga stans in 2016 having a superiority complex and thinking they have good taste. She's not producing better art than virtually any of her peers at this point (or should I say former peers?) Brilliantly said 👌
CannaeDrive 3,412
Judging by some of the replies to your post here, we can safely say that your observation can be also applied to GGD. "Fame Is A Boomerang" - Maria Callas

Of course I'd see your negativity as something destructive instead of constructive. Look at Economy's recent post about PI gaining radio spins not counting the add/impact effect. It's been out less than 2 weeks and is already streamed 16m times in Spotify whereas Rise is at 23m despite being released more than 2 months now. Publications have praised her and critical reception is generally positive. I, too, want Gaga to perform better because I know she deserves success, but downplaying each and every effort really isn't helping You're comparing a buzz single from Katy Perry to a comeback single from Lady Gaga after she's been gone for 3 years. That is such a low bar. If this song was good it would have been getting like 5M views and streams a day.

TheBatman 951
I think other fanbases are feeling revenged, Gaga **** talked so many other performers, and Gaga fans have been the worst about slagging other pop girls for years. So now that Gaga is having a second flop era in a row, the other fanbases are having a laugh at her.

It's the only thing left to fight ATRL ugly twinks. If she doesn't get a +70 score, music forums are going to be hell. I don't wanna get burnt. I can enjoy Gaga's music + experience on non-toxic places. Don't get your hopes up about metacritic. Many of their reviewers are fans of other artists and do not give unbiased scores. Prada 1,200
First 5 years of Gagas carrier is enough to burn any current popstar. In the end their making fun of PI will be forgotten but Gagas beautiful songs will be remembered. I know Gaga has not been doing well since 2013 but she's a QUEEN and there is no need for a another album.SHE HAS DONE MORE THAN ENOUGH. How lucky our fave has already achieved more than their fave and they think just because Gaga is not doing well, she is bad.WRONG ! They think she is falling because GAGA already been to the top !!!!!!!!
