I do believe she is a better dancer overall because she actually tells a story through dance and has an emotional, artistic quality in every move.

Educate yourself :excuseu:

Spoiler

Kidding  you're entitled to your opinion, I just wanted to share these with you

This is the kind of innovation Michael was known for. Note the crispness and story-driving dance moves ;)

This along with things like Thriller and Moonwalker really changed the way things were done :flutter:

🧡The blindfold's off my eyes, all I see for me is better days🧡

Thanks for posting PartySick! Now I can see that he is a good dancer, but this video was very corny imo, like a Halloween Disneyland concept.  I can see why he was so successful since he appealed to children.  I think Gaga is definitely a greater artist in that her short films such as Alejandro and Born this Way were Art with a capital A - true boundary pushing, avant garde art!

I loved MJ for his songs that weren't totally recognizable huge hits. Instead of Thriller, Billie Jean, Bad, etc....My songs are Will You Be There, Stranger In Moscow, Earth Song, Cry, They Don't Care About Us.  I loved his later work much more than the classic hits he's known for.

In 9th grade for an entire year I forced my parents to listen to all of Thriller each evening as soon as my homework was done.

That was BEFORE I convinced my sister to take my cash to buy Dangerous remaster for me.  She brought it home and I was shaking and died a few minutes later while it played.

I had Dangerous MV collection on DVD and used to look at the back and how it listed a Dangerous video. But there was no Dangerous video in it.  I would play it through and nothing.  Then I would look at the back cover and say to myself, it wouldn't lie... it must be in there somewhere.  And watch it all again.

I made my friend record bucharest on tape because she had cable.

I would cry watching him dance.

Yes, I was exposed by my parents. They took me to attend 3 of his world tours. I was very young that time. I consider myself very fortunate tbh.

And I dressed as MJ for two Halloweens, one with iconic Thriller red jacket and another with Smooth Criminal suits. I always tried to lean like MJ did in the music video to no avail :neyde:

Only much later I learned the shoes used in the MV were specifically designed to do that kind of stunt. It was awesome, aside from Thriller, for me Smooth Criminal choreo are the best ones, very elaborate, very intricate, if you see the MV, each dancer have their own moves but still it is synchronised. And another one is Remember The Time.

I've been a fan since '97 when I was three :sis:

I guess I kind of used him as a father figure in a way since my actual dad was next to useless. It's kind of poetic how Michael took me through my childhood and Gaga took me from adolescence into adulthood :flutter:

I was new to the pop music world back in 2009, I had been a fan of Rihanna then. I didn't know about MJ until about 2011.. I'm sure I would have been a fan of his if I had known about him before. I'm a big fan now :)
