LOL guys I really think the song is gonna take off once they see the music video...

If anyone doesn't like it it's probably because they imagine meat dress gaga singing it.  Once they see how stripped down she is, it should catch on...

if NOT, I would love to know which song she would have picked...

That's interesting! Record labels normally put the best work forward. I am truly worried about this record.

No they don't, they pick the most commercial one. Commercial does not always mean best.

Until the break of summer, RedOne was in progress as the producer of the lead single.

After an apparent disagreement, Gaga pointed to an alternative option, Mark, PeriodBlood and Kevin.

Somebody lyin'.

It is odd how we got reports of RedOne working on 8 or so tracks, and now he will only have one song on the album.

Commercial means the most money for them! I don't think this song should have been chosen as a single!

If this is the one Interscope felt would have the best chance at sellign then it cements this album wont be commercial

Not necessarily. They did the same to Applause, and ARTPOP could've had a few different lead singles (Venus, DWUW, Gypsy, etc.) that probably would've done equally well at the time.

Venus or Gypsy would not do as good as applause, they're both amazing songs but they are rightfully album tracks. DWUW could've probably done better than applause I agree.

The label gets the final say on all releases because it's their money and investment. It's been that way for her entire signed career and will be as long as she releases under a label. The sooner we learn this, the better.

I guess so, but my point being there's probably still a single-worthy song or two on the album. We'll just have to see!

Non necessarily. They just put out the most radio friendly songs. Which means Joanne won't be radio friendly.

Lets just hope the demos of the other 7 leak, I am thirsty to see what was scrapped.

I'm glad the label and/or Gaga chose PI, it really is a bombastic lead single.

Art pop wasn't radio friendly also, I'm just worried about how this record will define gaga!
