I purchased it. I don't believe in streaming.   I'm old school. Probably cause I'm 35.

35? Ur too young still to get stubborn and refuse to evolve

That attittude is what results in useless debates between generations when older people refuse to embrace change

Streaming is more practical. Technology now allows for it. Period!

When I was like 10 years old (13 years ago) even digital downloads were relatively new and those people who insisted people should buy entire albums got on my nerves

what if i only like 2 songs on an album and dont wanna have to buy the other 12 tracks that come with it :rip:

My point is her label will slash her promo budget if she becomes a chronic flop

We will have to get used to far less TV interviews and performances in big events which we love :(

Think charts dint matter, think again

He's not denying the impact.

I don't stream either.  Honestly Spotify makes no sense to me.  I cant play anything from web links.  It wants me to log in when I already had the app.  I lretty much hate it.  It should be easy.

Amyway things change a lot.

Basically I want to hate spotify.

I understand they matter, I just feel I enjoy the music much more when I don't focus on where it stands on the charts.

Yes you've got a good point. I suppose i feel that when I purchase something it's mine and always will be whereas with streaming it only is when u continue to pay monthly. Like a contract. I will try it sometime I'm sure.

streaming costs a lot of bandwidth and its cheaper to buy a song one time

Oh ok. Yeah, enjoy it regardless of how it performs

But I get ma when at least 1/3 of this fan base judges those of us who care about charts

Its like they dont realize a lot of stuff does matter with chart performance

Labels wont promote an artist at a loss. If they cant make the mo ey back, promo budgets and even production budgets (like music videos) can get slashed

Just sayin. If era after era she started doing poorly. Her label would give up on her and she wouldnt be one of their priorities anymore

They would promote her wnough to go on tour (she she would still make some good money) and thats about it.

Think about past legends. When they started to flop, their whole production size shrunk with it

Very true! !

I have seen so many artists be so successful and fail on second album and dropped immediately.

Gaga has had the huge success of 3 albums but if there is a second album that fails to be great then that could potentially  be 6 years of poor sales. Budgets slashed even dropped.

Obviously this won't happen. Joanne will be great.

If you really love a song, you download it to your phone, you dont just keep streaming it over and over

Everyone i know downloads a song after 2 or 3 listens. Download it when u have acess to wi-fi and its there forever

But for songs u hear once or twice, streaming gives u a big library available that if u wanted to buy every song ud have to spend a huge fortune

Anyone who thinks US STREAMING THE SONG IS GONNA MAKE IT SUCCESSFUL WITH THE GP IS DELUSIONAL. Stop wasting your time streaming on various sites, buying multiple copies, etc. It will NOT make a difference, either the GP will pick it up or they won't and it's out of our hands. JUST ENJOY THE MUSIC.

You're 100% right. Of course I miss the days when Gaga was the biggest star in the world and did major promo and I would be devastated to see her being given up on, I just think the quality of the music is most important.

Requesting on radio if anything can make some difference
