Can you imagine a season based in the late 1800's during the peak of westward expansion? They could base it around a Brothel, and Gaga could be the main hooker *****. Get to work AHS! It would be cool though if it was based on a group heading west together and they could play off the Donner Party (The group that resulted to cannibalism after being stuck on their way west). freebit 6,240 Posted September 16, 2016 Share Posted September 16, 2016 I dislike most westerns, it's usually how they treat the Native Americans that disgusts me. I don't expect the mistreatment and mistrust to be wiped away and be period inaccurate to fit with current times, but I feel like there's often a fine line there between historical accuracy that's gritty, but done with respect....and just flat out tacky Tarantino-like indulgence almost gleeful in the violence and hatefulness towards them (like The Burrowers). If they ever do a season like that I hope that they get it right because the 1800s west and the idea of a horror western is so creepy and full of potential.
