PI would be a hit with radio support

So far, I have heard PI only two times in the radio. And this was only Friday and Monday when she was still forcing iHeart radio to play it throughout the day. Since then, there are no sights of PI on my local radio stations (California). And this is worrying. Like I already said before, songs need radio support or else they will not be hits. PI specially needs constant plays because is a great song that takes a while to get into. PI is simply a grower. But without the radio support, people won't have a chance to love the song. PI would totally be a hit because its very catchy and it has great vocals. But it seems that the radio is scared to play it because PI doesn't sound like anything they are currently playing. From now on lets just hope that the radio gives it a chance since there is still time and the song is still fresh.

I'm sorry but you have no idea what you're talking about. Her radio updates have been insanely good. Please do some research before you open a thread to talk absolutely no-sense. What is lacking is sales on iTunes and streaming...promo would help.

I am talking from personal experience. Radio stations are adding the song, but they don't seem to be playing it.

I don't even like PI and can admit it's getting appropriate radio attention...maybe even a little too much

I think it's actually having good radio support  i mean, it obviously won't be in every ****ing radio station on the planet, but it's been out for a week and i heard it several times.

The main problem here, imo, is that radio and kinda the GP too, were expecting a song with gaga's signature on it (it is on PI, yes, but after maaany listens. As you said, it's a grower, and it takes time. And radio ain't got time for that), and they got PI, which is very different from nowadays trends.

I just love the song. I listen to it several times a day and just can't get enough. It's the perfect song to lip-sync to. Whenever I play it I instantly become gaga and pretend I'm belting the sh*t out of that key change  i don't care what geepee thinks

I believe the chart trajectory of Perfect Illusion will be similar to Just Dance in 2008. Remember how that song took nearly 9 months to become number one? They both sounded completely unlike anything else at the time. This song is a gamechanger because it's going against the tide of what's currently popular. So I think it will be a massive sleeper hit. You need to hear it a couple of times for it hook you in. A grow-er, not a show-er

I am not saying that you are wrong. I haven't even checked on her radio updates (by the way send me a link). But every time there is a new song out, my radio stations are usually really quick to play them. And yet, they don't seem to be playing it much. So I just assumed that she wasn't being play much in most other places. But I will take your worth and hopefully you are right.
