exoskeleton35 646
Do you think that Joanne will be more organic indie rock ish? Or there will be some synth/dance pop jams on the record like ARTPOP/Fame Monster? Sonically after hearing Perfect Illusion it's hard to predict where the album is headed in terms of direction. Born To Slay 10,996
I hope she does some synth pop
Computer 10,973
I hope so but I just cant imagine it with PI existing and then this cover 💚💛💕❣⭕💢💢 | ⓜⓔⓡⓡⓨ ©ⓗⓡⓘⓢⓣⓜⓐⓢ
xoxo cupcakke 4,781
"The Police meets disco vibe" Won't sound anything like ARTPOP, or anything before it. Time to dance to a new beat
Red 97,978
At this point I think it's safe to say Joanne will include anything from opera to dubstep If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Time to dance to a new beat I'm so scared. I really like perfect Illusion but it doesn't seem to be resonating with the general public that well. As much as we hate to admit it commercial success is important because it tells us whose relevant to the general public. I hope the songwriting and production is top notch... I want disco vibes
Stephen 30,423
If we didn't have PI, but we had all of Gaga's descriptions of the album, I would honestly be expecting an Adele-like sound. But then you listen to PI and it's completely different so idk what to expect
REALITY 76,234
If you're talking about the title track, certainly not. Dan Wootton's confirmed that it's going to be a "haunting ballad with epic vocals". However, the album's a different story. From what we know, most of her collaborations on his album have been from people who delve into the "Rock" genre. That said, we have people like Kevin Parker who make psychedelic rock music, and then others like Father John Misty who make indie rock music, then again other people like Josh Homme who make alternative rock music. At this point, I think it's safe to assume that she's going to be more "rock" on this album than any other album. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

freebit 6,240
I think there might be some synths. I feel like this album might be its own mixed bag just going from her descriptions, like Mark's Record Collection.
Guest
Since it isn't a conceptual album I expect it to have a more diversive range when it comes to styles and influences. But I feel like most of her songs will not be dance records. It's very hard to predict.
Gardevoir 9,820
Why not. maybe It will have some synthpop elements. Do you know that the only rockish things in PI are her vocals and guitars? Take into consideration intro and beat from the verses. They are very psychedelic, especially verses. Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
Squidward T 2,216
I honesty think its going to have a bluesy pop rock/country vibe based on the people shes working with and I dont know if im feeling it
n0ne 13,105
I mean PI has synths prominently, so I'm sure there's probably a more synthpop influenced song.
