My bestest, bestest, bestest friend evahhhh is leaving for Uni this Summer (She's gonna be a 6 hour car journey away from me ) and "Summertime Sadness" will most definitely be my "sit and cry because everything sucks" song for a few weeks afterwards  :red: ;)

Yeah we are :) s'gonna be difficult at first though..

Born To Die is such a relevant album, it annoys me that I can't just listen to it, y'know? Every track on that album reminds me of something or someone or some event in my life, which is a pretty amazing feat for a debut album, props to her.

I think that's why I listen to the original LDR album a lot. It's not something I identify with as much, more like escapism.

I know what you mean. But I can do listen to it and just enjoy it or think about the lyrics and my life. I really love this album, it could be my favourite one. But I will see my opinion about it in 6 Months

Back to the point, its really fascinating how intimate and private this album is.

And I still don't understand why you prefer her first album more I really like it , but BTD means more to me.

I like it more because of the atmosphere it has + the circumstances of which she wrote the album in :)

Mermaid Motel (she used to stay in a motel by the beach every few weeks, and decorate it with tinsel, and write music) is one of my all-time Lana favourites.

When I first heard Mermaid Motel I was like "oh my god, wtf is this ****".

Months later its okay. As I already said the first album is just okay for me . Nothing compared to BTD :legend:

I read a article, he said he is not. He just uses the word ******* often and say if he is calling somone gay then because he think this person is stupid. There is really no logic behind this dude.
