Lana Del Rey

It's the nature of the internet sadly, it's really the most nasty place. I remember Adele talking about how she used to read her YouTube video comments, but stopped soon after because how vile so many people were, it pissed her off and she stays away from it now. I assume Lana is the same, she's expressed her dislike of "trashy" press about her, so i figure she isn't keeping track. Everyone will have something to say, shes talented, attractive and on the cusp of doing something popular, so naturally, people are going to wait with mouths drooling to rip her to shreds over everything possible, her lips have kicked that door wide open and people will throw **** at her becuase that's what people do. It's lame, but part of things now that the internet has become a beacon for opinions.

I can understand how some may not like things about her, fine, whatever, but the other day on YouTube someone wrote "stupid ****ing b---h, hope she kills herself" on one of her videos and it really confused me as to why people are SO hostile online. So many weirdos.

Because anonymousity, jelousy, envy and leisure all come together in one when you talk about internet. As soon as people see someone's better than them in something, but they don't like that person, they start beating the **** out of them. It's one of humanity's most prehistorical lame natural ways of reacting, and technology just feeds that.

Have you seen that there are some concerts in which the artist brings one of their fans onstage and, I dunno, they gift him/her a guitar or something?

Well, most of those fans get beat up by other fans outside the concert.

This is a simmilar situation, only that directly related to the artist itself.

People just need to be the ****. People need to be the best all the time.

Or at least, feel like that.

And the easiest way is hurting others.

Yeah agreed. What's even more bizarre are the people who can't stand her yet follow her every move. I saw that a lot over the last few years with Gaga, it's like a sickness, people are very bitter and bored.

Oh well, at the end of the day, Lana can have her critics, but she also has her fans, who seem to be in bigger numbers and all she can do at the end of the day is deliver what she's good at, and she does. That's the biggest **** you she can give to anyone really.

*I just cannot with the talk about who became a fan first vs. those who "jumped on the bandwagon." Especially about an artist who hasn't even put out a full album yet. She's practically a brand new artist, whose career has BARELY taken off.

*Calm your tits.

I just listened to Lana Del Rey A.K.A. Lizzy Grant. The album doesn't have her deep goosebumps voice. It's mostly her breathy voice. I prefer her current stuff.

She definitely had her lip done judging by that album cover.

preach it, gorl.

I mean, who really cares? You don't gain anything by being an 'early' fan, not in the internet days where almost everything is available to download if you know where to look. *sigh*

She put out an EP under a different label, and her real name. It's like saying Lady Gaga's first album was Red & Blue.

Confirmed: Lana Del Rey Set to Appear on 'Saturday Night Live'

On Jan. 14, Lana Del Rey will play what is technically her third New York City gig when she appears as the musical guest on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ The evening’s episode will be hosted by ‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe.

This appearance is a bit of a surprise, considering it comes two weeks before Del Rey releases her debut album, ‘Born to Die,’ on Jan. 31 via Interscope.

DANIEL AND LANA OMG. DYING.
