Wolf Boy 3,206
Is the only promo she had in the US is SNL right? Yep. Proof that people have gone online to find out about her themselves and saw her other glorious music and performances. Eat **** hipsters, she's coming for all your skinny jeans. miguel658 0
Just throwing this out there. The SNL performance not only gave her negative attention, but positive at the same time. I know of four other people who didn't know who she was and totally "got" her from that performance. I am one of those 4. If it wasn't for SNL I would have never paid attention to her. Loving the album and love how passionate you all are. It really is a GREAT album and so happy you all see that.

liamcita 1
i was thinking thather ex may have died, tbh. especially since whenever she talks about the album and that it's about this person, she says she wants to honor the relationship with him. i find this in another forum, is this true? Mason 204
i find this in another forum, is this true? That's always the feeling I get from "Dark Paradise" IDK if it's true or not though, I don't know much about her.

Androo 1
i find this in another forum, is this true? that's my theory too.. she was asked about the guy and whether or not she has talked to him about being the subject of a few of her songs in a recent radio interview (i forget which one) and she said that she hasn't, but talks to his mother which lead me to believe that he died. it's just odd to me that she'd talk to his mother about it and not him if he's still alive. vomitshismind 0
Does anyone else feel completely understood by Lana's lyrics? Her lyrics sound as if she plucked them straight from the universal consciousness of everyone who has felt the beautiful sadness of love. Some people might say her some songs are repetitive but I believe that is a small component to the overall theme of the album. Lana reminds us of all those times we look back at love and how hard it is to let go when you've experienced a true love that felt cinematic. (And if you can't stand the repitition then you must hate Adele, cause 21 is that album is 60% Someone Like You with added instruments and 30% Rolling In The Deep with less instruments.)
