Wolf Boy 3,252
I'm a total Lana Del Rey fan and the new album is the anthem of 2012. Well last night I viewed a horrible performance by LMFAO at the NRG awards. I thought to myself, "Why aren't they getting crucified by the media like Lana Del Rey?" They obviously aren't using their own names, instead they have contrived names like 'RedFoo' and 'SkyBlu" but I don't see interviews/blogs asking them 'Are you playing a character? Who are you, Stefan or RedFoo?' Then I listen to their music, which is catchy to people, but they don't sing! Their songs are spoken word with autotune. And again, I don't see big spectacle with the blogs when they do horrible live performances. And to top it off both of them are the son and grandson of Motown founder Berry Gordy. What the ****? Here is Lana Del Rey, an amazing singer/songwriter who is being bashed because she changed her name, actually SINGS live, and has a millionare father. Maybe this is a case of no press is bad press, but I figure music critics/bloggers/etc need to stop publicizing the trite details of a singers life and actually go back to focusing on GOOD music. australiagaga 28
Her hair is unnaturally perfect. I don't even think it's possible to have such flawless hair. :legend:
One Five Ten 70
I LOVE this cover of Video Games!! I think its better then the original almost! :eww: I'm from Australia too, and I like some Like a Version songs, but that was just awful I mean, the singing is perfect and everything but the song NEEDS to be performed at the speed it is in the original, and when they sung it the emotional punch (the main reason the song is so flawless) is GONE. Jenniferella 2,774
I just bought the Deluxe edition ! Kinda disappointed, only 2 pics of her in it :( But it looks very unique, vintage, like a vinyl package) Going to listen to the whole album for the first time :) "I have been writing LG5 since I was 13"

MattyMonster 3
From EW review: The flimsy melody propping up ''National Anthem'' collapses under its embarrassing faux-rap, and ''Radio'' takes a ''fame is hard'' stance normally reserved for Real Housewives P-R-E-S-S-E-D!
