Yes, I know that it's something Interscope does because it also happened to Gaga in the past eras... we had SO many versions of the same single, it was indeed funny to collect but it was a lot time spent in things that looked almost the same.

Maybe it's just me but nowadays I sort of lost the big passion I had for collecting specially when it comes to buying stuff to have remixes... it's not like Lily Allen (just an example), that you bought singles because they came with remixes, b-sides (tracks that weren't on the album), sometimes they were even enhanced with the video and so on... it's much cooler in my opinion.

"Jimmy Iovine doesn't care about music anymore" is what Manson said recently. Interscope just wantalottamonay.

But yeah with Manson, all his singles from the early 90s, up until he left Interscope in 09 had bonus material, b-sides, remixes, videos enhanced on them etc. and the packing was interesting too. Thankfully you can get basically all of his b-side material online these days, otherwise I would have spent lots of £Â£Ã‚£ by now on second hand CDs trying to find **** haha

I think Lana is also one of those artists who can put out multiple singles and people will buy them for the extras - but it's only remixes on these releases isn't it? They could have easily been putting demos on them, as b-sides, and alot more people would be buying.

I don't buy many CDs these days, but when I do it's because they're worth buying.

In my case it's just that I don't find collecting attractive anymore just to have remixes. Obviously, there are remixes that are amazing, but most of them you listen to like... once in a month? I have like 90 items on my Lady Gaga collection and barely all of it are just "special" because they have remixes or something. B-sides, bonus tracks, enhanced CDs are way more attractive in my opinion.

Not to mention that we buy the CD and then we just put it on our shelves and it stays there, collecting dust and so on, so yeah. I still like vinyls because I think they are beautiful and some promo CDs because some of them come with a lot of music that I can have in high quality, but that's it. I won't spend a **** load of money in collecting anymore at all.
