We're all entitled to our preferences and opinions. I just ask for a solid 'Tame Impala + Lady Gaga only' track, of a 5 to 7 minute duration. No Co producers. Pure psychedelic rock ala "Eventually". You shouldn't downgrade Kevin's status because of a song that had at least 3 producers, and his involvement was at a minimum.

And for MV something like theirs videos not completely strip down :neyde:

I really hope Gaga was under stating the music video for Perfect Illusion. Good visuals can make up for the lack of satisfaction. Not to mention, the potentially three week wait we have left to endure.

she is testing waters( or her label) , she mentioned many times that the MV is 99% finished and yet she waits for what ?!?

I wonder what the Tame Impala's fans are thinking of this

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I've heard his stuffs, it's too indie for me not as orgasmic as I'd like it to be.

Ronson is the executive producer, I expect more from him after PI.

As a Tame Impala fan, I'm disappointed :flop: I don't get his involvement in PI. He's actually very pop at heart, he has some great melodies and knows how to work those effect pedals... PI for me sounds like totally Gaga produced. I don't feel the magic I was expecting from Kevin Parker.

As a Gaga fan as well, I was extremely excited for the collaboration. I'm still waiting for their other songs. Kevin Parker has lots of different projects and has collaborated with Mark Ronson and Justin Bieber before, so Tame Impala fans in general shouldn't feel that bad for having their "indie" act associated with a "pop" star. I wish, hoever, he had had with Gaga the sort of musical experience he offers with his Tame Impala music.

i undestand you , I was really rooting for a sound like " The Less I Know The Better" but it was nothing similar

Well, you cant expect artist A and artist B collaborate and purely/only sound like artist A.

We can clearly hear how PI is resemblant sonically to the (4) producers' past work. It's actually a really coherent song stylewise. Anyhow, I DO want to see a Parker Gaga song only, tbh.

CAN'T WAIT :excited2:

I think Perfect Illusion might be all he was involved in, and if that's true I'm gonna be devastated, cause I love the song but it's not the Gaga x Kevin song I needed :cryga:

I would love more gaga with Tame Impala.

They have awesome music and don't care about the charts. Still, they are huge in the indie scene.

I wonder if she chose PI because it had none, yet all of their creative stamps on it. Like, it was all their own creation, like a band, instead of mostly big, synthy, suttering pop (Gaga), big retro brassiness/making the past new again (Ronson), or chill, guitar-filled psychedelia (Parker)...it's just it's own accessible, yet inaccessible, entity.
