Yes thay have 187M but that's just becouse they made you follow them when you make a profile. So many many of these followers are bots, and others rarely like posts. Also people can see the post and look at it, and just not press like. I've found that Instagram stories get a lot more views then posts get likes, so I can only imagine if Instagram's pulling in hundreds of thousands of likes how many views the story is going to get! Even if it's not 100+ million people viewing it, a couple million, or even 1 million active followers viewing it is still a lot of promo!
