I like how she keeps saying mother's daughter, sister's sister, lover's lover, friend's friend like a mantra in all of these appearances. That's got to either be lyrical or a huge hint to some missing part of the pattern.

Oh i had thought about this a lot. Yes, this era will certainly be interesting, though i like Concept albums much more. She's being very smart, it's good to take a break from the so well thought album with a narrative and it's a an album that is a musical etc... It's the right time for a straight album (she's done with the geys for good).

Prime examples of pure concept albums are Lemonade and Mylo Xyloto, both tell stories, like listening to a film. Then you have more simple concept albums like The Fame Monster which just revolves around the idea that each song represents a fear.

This sounds like it is a concept album though, if she's telling the story of her self. I reckons she's saying it like that to avoid people thinking it's some kind of pretentious art album (none have them have been) which she's shoving in the GPs face. I think it will be like How Big How Blue How Beautiful and Born This Way, where they definitely aren't a clear defined story/concept album but are kind of a journey that the listener goes on when they listen to the album in full
