I may get hate for this, but she can never do real rock, real punk.. because she comes from a wealthy family, private expensive schools in new york.. it's not engrained in her. jazz? yes. rock and punk? it's not who she is. she may want to be like that, but she'll always miss a certain edge that other people who really struggled, who felt the hunger for money, naturally have. just my opinion. in the back of her mind, she knows she has a family that can be her safety net. she grew up knowing that. real rock, real punk.. it comes from something else.i have seen it a lot before.. doesnt mean she wont do a good job, but it will always be a soft version of rock.

You know jazz isn't rooted in the "rich lifestyle" though, right?

its my opinion.. this is what i also said.. let her experiment. if she fails, she fails. stop caring so much about what a youtuber, commenter, or anyone says and enjoy the moment and the music. stop caring so much about what other people think

I wouldn't say she's trying to make rock music or be a rock artist, personally. I'd say the current direction is inspired by the genre for some of it's sound and aesthetic but I don't think anyone believes it's actual rock music.

I would love for her to really go for it and let go of pop for at least one album but it's not going to happen.

Gaga is 100% a rockstar. Try comparing her to pop artists like Britney, Ariana, etc. Incomparable. And multiple rock legends have stated how much of one she is, I don't think you have much credibility to your name, unless you're secretly Ace Frehley or something.

Now the song itself isn't rock, at least not as much as I'd like it to be. It's still labeled pop because at least 50% of it is pop. There are obvious rock influences in there, probably more than she's ever released before. I'm sure we'll get more rock based songs on LG5 though.

Uh oh guys the music police is here apperanly you can never do rock music if you never struggled as bad as they did in the 70's.

Yeah, it originated in black communities in New Orleans.
