It was on 182 stations yesterday so the spincrease would only include improved numbers from Friday's plays. So if Kiss played the song 5 times Friday and 7 times Sat, that's +2. It makes more since to show week to week spincreases than day to day, especially first week. We will be able to better predict the radio impact the song is gonna have next Saturday. From the next week the rolling effect will do its job and most likely the song will begin to decrease in spins and AI. This big increase happens to a lot of songs from artists like Gaga, look at JT, if I remember, Can't stop the feeling almost made the top 10 in the first week, so don't freak out because you have no reason. Since PI has been out less than 7 days, each days spins and AI are grossly added to the total Almost all other songs have been out longer than 7 days which means everyday the 8th day spins are removed and the last 24h added instead Were adding each days spins over next week, for other songs the change is only the difference So it means nothing right now 😑 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

But this is being blown out of proportion As i said on my last post, a brand new song will usually always get the biggest gains because it doesnt have the roll back effect other songs do This chart keeps track of spins and AI for the past 7 days. Because the song has been out for less than a week, everydays spins and AI are still being added to the chart But once we hit the 8th day, first day spins and AI will be removed and replaced with the latest day. And same for 9th day with second day and so on Other songs on the chart only change based on changes in relation to spins in before last 7 days Because were not there yet were still adding everything until the 7th day which is why our gains are so big. On Friday it'll be hit with the rolling effect aka 8th day effect and will lose a bunch of spins and AI. If it can recover after that then ...we should be good.
