Perfect Illusion by far. Roar is a nice tune, I guess - very light, nothing overly complicated, a cute message, basically the perfect gift to the general populace which doesn't like to think too hard about music. (Some of those metaphors in Roar - I cringed and I still do.)

PI takes no prisoners. You either understand Gaga, or you don't. Disco-rock anthem about either despair or the trappings of social media (or both), with a perfectly timed key change. It makes much more of a statement both of itself and of the artist than Roar could ever dream of doing.

EDIT in response to Hola Soraya's signature above my post: I would have thought 'wasn't' would be transcribed as ουάζεντ.

Well... with no official rules for transcription...

Είναι εκπληκτικό που το ακούω. Θα είχα σκεφτεί θα υπήρχε ένα σύστημα μεταγραφής.

At least this one is easy. I hated Roar since the first time I've heard it. It's just so cringy and easily Katy's worst single ever. I don't know why it was such a hit. RIse >>>>

Am I the only one who thinks Gaga sounds like Katy in PI? :oprah:

Not in the verses though.. in parts like "ooooh oooh!" and the chorus.

Roar is everything I don't like about Katy Perry: catchy but not remotely memorable. It is why she has X amount of Grammy nominations and 0 wins. Roar was catchy, light, and "inspiring" which is why it caught on but I quickly forgot about it once it fell of the charts.

Perfect Illusion is memorable. It is different to what is popular on the charts today. It's lyrical value is top notch. This is a song that I believe will be nostalgic down the road, just like Bad Romance or Paparazzi.
