malazam 15,710
I'm sure 'PI' mv wasn't that expensive...Maybe around 800-900k She's probably paying all or something..... I mean she has like 200 million dollars in her bank account. Gaga's is the top artist of Interscope, after making changes on ARTPOP's release plan and seeing how it did I'm sure they're letting her do the things. another shot before we kiss the other side
manicholic 3,694
I'd like to know too Like who's paying for her recent private flights? They're like 50K per leg Even if Gaga was on a 360 deal with Interscope downloads and streaming earnings are so teeny tiny There's nothing harder for people to do than admit they were fooled. Not The Real Gaga 7,545
Do Interscope really make money with tours? I thought Livenation/MOJO organizes and plans tours and that they hire the artists, in this case Gaga. Like, they pay for everything and get all of the ticket sales and than they pay Gaga like 1 million dollar per show.
giskardsb 12,565
It used to be labels only made money on sales. Every large artist these days basically signs a "360" deal, which means that labels also participate in revenue from endorsements and tours. It would be useful for pop fans to remember however that every illegal download does cut into the funding of all those videos and promo's that you love so much, especially for artists that are not the top tier. LetsGetHigh 52,683
Interscope get 100% of Gaga's streaming profit.
weed 74,628
Well you can say this for any artist, not just Gaga and Interscope they probably have to re-work contracts and everything since music sales aren't what they used to be
venusfly 17,885
Touring is the big money maker now, it used to be sales.

(example: Apearance: 2k | Performance: 5k | 30minute-Set: 6-7k, ect.) But also there's also other expenses (examples: (oversea) flight, over night stays, special wishes, ect.) covered up in the contract, and if said so the host of the gig has to cover these up. From the booking fee (let's say 50k for an exclusive radio interview) Gaga gets money, the label gets money, the band/dancers/crew gets money, ect..
