The reason why I hate you is because I don't understand you. I really have a hard time figuring out what psychological process goes inside haters' brains that they need to constantly do this.

I suppose it's all rooted in envy. I think people who dislike the song are angry that some people genuinely love it while they simply can't, so they cope with it by trying to destroy the song, only so they can validate their opinion; only so they feel like they are in the right. That the song SHOULD be hated.

I don't know if this is truly how you feel... I even wonder if you yourself have any idea of the emotions that trigger this irrational and honestly irritating behaviour. Do you?

And that's the problem with everyone hating on this song

Everyone had expectations for it to sound like what they thought it was going to sound like but when the song went a totally different direction than what they thought then it's not good since it's different

I can't believe you view me in such a pathetic light. You know how much I want to like this song? I just can't! Just like how you can't understand why I don't like the song, I also wouldn't understand how so many people adore it, and it's normal because we all have different opinions. That doesn't mean I want to go out and actively destroy the song and convince everyone that it's bad. In fact it's more of a sad and depressing time as a Little Monster, not being able to feel like you could adore her like I used to. I just need time. Maybe I will like it someday, but right now I just feel like covering myself in sorrow and imagining what could have been, just like a someone mourning the death of a loved one.
