I used to self harm when I was a teen, I still have scars and struggle with life, so this hits hard at home. You know so many people have asked me if I've ever regretted getting my gaga/monster tattoos because after all she's "just" a popstar. I always take great offense to that statement. We don't love her because she's a "pop star". We love her because of moments like this fan captured. She's always been there when we needed her. I got my f***ing head ripped off by a few people because apparently it was "weird and cringe worthy" that I referred to gaga as "mom". The thing is, in a way, gaga is my "mom". My biological mother wasn't there when I needed her and gaga represents a mother figure to me. So in a way she is my "mom" I love you monsters.
