Thinking about logging out of GGD and the internet

I'm logging out. It would be nice after 3 years of waiting to celebrate this moment with people that have the same passion and love for Lady Gaga. But now it's just a mess.

OMG! Why we love drama so much?

our fave released a song, it was a Meh song that you would skipped in every other of her albums, some people like and other don't that's all, is not the end of the world.

The problem is that it seems to be that there is no place for PI-criticism on this forum anymore. Edit: even negative topics are locked right now. If that's the case, that would really be a big problem. Because such a big part -I think it's bigger than it has ever been- of our fanbase just doesn't like the song at all, we need a place to talk about it. Give every opinion some room, and within a few days the drama is over.

Critisism is always ok, we are not "YASSSS" machines, but making threads calling it trash and stuff is just insulting Gaga

Life has a hopeful undertone |-/

People are gonna have different opinions, have yours and leave it at that  Like let the actual bad stuff roll off your back like a water off a duck :laughga: If you like the song then enjoy the hell out of it and don't let anyone's opinion (good or bad) affect it :woot:

We should all work at being less impressionable and more inner-directed.

I agree 100% with you, but we have to have in mind the demographics of this forum (and the "fanbase" as a whole maybe), because for a 30-year-twink like me, it is shocking how much teens and pre-teens are here. :awkney:

Plus, and I know I am getting repetitive regarding this fact: Maaaaaany members here became fans of Gaga during ARTPOP, and haven't followed her artistic journey in order to understand her evolution without spreading negativity.

On the other hand, there are some older fans as well, who cling to TFM as if it is the holy grail or something. :saladga:

The thing is, that they forget the fact that when the first singles were played back then, they also needed some time from a minority of fans to get used to. And that is, because Gaga is so creative, that she constantly re-invents herself.

:classy: Anyway, I am so glad people are leaving. I really wanted this era to weed out the bandwagoners that constantly talk about #1s, top 40s, as if those things have to do with the artistic integrity and evolution of a musician. :classy:

So, to them: BYE
