Numerically PI will debut at #1

It all depends on the radio support the new view days. Don't get your hopes up to much. We've seen her earlier singles decline after the first day of release because of the lack of radio support.

Uh...."numerically" Closer has over 600 points on the Hot 100 while #2 has about 300. There is absolutely no way PI can surpass 600 points in its debut week. 300 is a stretch as well. Expect a debut in the lower half of the Top 10 if that. Your numbers make no sense at all. Did you factor in that less than 30% of those views will count for BB since BB only considers the US?

Are you sure the audio video will garner 8.4 million views per day? Britney's Make Me has only roughly 20 million views and how did you come to the conclusion that Perfect Illusion's audio will garner so many views when Gaga is weak in streaming?

It won't go #1 in its first week  You don't know how many views came from the US, only Billboard reveils that. 

First of all it needs to overtake Closer on Itunes and stay there, which means sell over 200k in a week, which would be the biggest female debut this year (aka ain't happening). 

Radio adds are not high enough in its first week to catch up with the top songs.

We need to stop worrying about what other fanbase say in the comments. Best to ignore them. 

Why? I think many stans get worried those comment sections "hurt their faves image". They don't. Most of the GP will either enjoy the song or not. They don't even realize there is a stan war happening in the comment section below. Because regardless, there isn't a #1 hit on YouTube that DOESNT have a stan war in the comments.

It's irrelevant.

A song will either be popular, or it won't.

Just remember the difference between Work Bitch and Applause. No shade. I love Britney. But she's further along, and her team isn't as tech savvy as Gaga's.

I have a good feeling about this song! I really want it to work out for her.

I hope it's one that can go strong for weeks and weeks. When the video comes, man, it's gonna explode. I feel like the video will be both amazing and really GP friendly.

Yes but they don't just factor against Gaga. Those "only US" numbers factor against Closer, too. 

If anything that gives Gaga an advantage. The Chainsmokers are a UK act. Gaga is from the US.

And guys, if this seems like it isn't going to happen, lets MAKE it happen. We need to actually call radio stations and request the song. Get it heard. We can easily make a difference. Call radio stations on your lunch breaks and request it. Text in. Post the song on your Facebooks (without adding the stan spam comments that will scare people away), post it on other sites, casually mention it to people.

Maybe we should all have a day where we agree to go outside and blast the song through megaphones to enlighten the GP

Whatever it takes to get it heard and get people to think of it and want to buy it. (without being so annoying and offputting that it has the opposite effect)
