SISTERV 3,887 Posted September 9, 2016 Share Posted September 9, 2016 After crunching numbers from the original jump (and an odd 12:30ish debut of PI Audio on YouTube), it's fair to say PI will be a #1 either on its debut on the Billboard Hot 100, or it's second week. On average (when most people in Gaga's strongest markets are asleep including the UK, the US, and Latin America), in a roughly 75 minute period Perfect Illusion reached a view count of 451k. (It suddenly halted as most videos do as YouTube checks immediately when videos go viral that it's not a bot problem). That's about 350k an hour in its weakest hours (It's strongest began after the YouTube halt and will continue for the next 8-10 hours). That means it will at least score 8.4 million views, but likely will score between 10-14 million in day one. That's a strong start, and if it stays steady with a radio deal, plenty of banners on spotify and iTunes, it will wean some, but break even because fans always replay the **** out of a song. The Chainsmokers' official "Closer" video gained 34 million views in its week after a VMA performance, a radio deal, endless radio play. That's likely to go down this week to 30 million, and then 25 million the week after. With Perfect Illusion's freshness power through streaming, averaging even the lowest at 8.4 million a day, that's 58 million it's debut week. A strong hit. (No Hello, but certainly a Shake It Off). Guys....that easily is a defeat to Closer. And if the audio alone of PI, with no visual, is already outdoing the VISUAL of a VMA performance and full video, then imagine when Gaga drops the actual video the next week when Closer is even weaker? Point is: it might debut at #1, but it will definitely debut at #2, and it will likely go #1 week two. That's already better than Applause, The Edge of Glory, LoveGame, Paparazzi, Alejandro, Telephone, and You and I. We. Are. In Good. Shape. And who knows? Maybe the second single will do even better? And the VEVO link is really doing good since she didn't posted in yet on her social media, and i doubt that she will since her (social media team) sucks. I think that PI will reach 8 million views in its first 24 hours, she is trending on Twitter with over 500,000 tweets, and on Facebook with over 300,000 posts which its pretty amazing. And i think that the soung would perform even better if she released the music video on the same day. It is safe to say that PI sold 50k copies worldwide after its premiere which is like (6 hours) The only prisons that exist are ones we put each other in..
