blackcoffee 1,264 Posted September 10, 2016 Share Posted September 10, 2016 To say I am excited that Florence collaborated with Gaga is an understatement...I LOVE FLORENCE + THE MACHINE! I've seen them three times live and man, it's always such an encapsulating show. Florence has an amazing ear for music and visuals. Her HBHBHB is as flawless as it could be...rock and classical infused pop music that just works so beautifully. Exactly the direction Gaga seems to be going. Just so here for it. Beck is another great person to be working. He's such a versatile artist and so super talented; he's made music of literally every major genre. He has a new album coming out Oct 21 and EW has started describing some of the songs as "funky", "club-ready, string-laden romp that's so disco-shagadelic". Again, seems right in line with Gaga's new sound (which I LOVE; I think the LA Times described it best with "stomping disco-rock jam with a killer robot-Motown groove, buckets of scuzz-punk guitar fuzz and a key change designed to trigger Pavlovian fist-pumps".
