People hated Born This Way, Applause, etc. The list goes on and on. Some people just hate when it's not what they expected I guess. Some will get into the song eventually. Some people like a song more when they see the video. I liked this song from first listen but the more I listen to it the more I love it. I don't know what people expected to be honest. I personally think it's pretty amazing, especially compared to a couple other lead singles we've had in the past. Of course, it's only one song, so it's impossible for everybody to be happy about it. We just all have different tastes and expectations of what a 'good' song should be. My only complaint would have to be that yeah, it does get a little repetitive towards the end, but it's still a really powerful song, so I don't mind too much Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm at my 9-10th listen and the second half of the song already started to overwhelm me with those screaming vocals and boring-repetetive lyrics.
