I'm a TV producer and took multiple media law courses... it's completely protected under parody. EXCEPT in cases where there was considerable audience confusion between the two. So, if after PI was released, more people in the public thought MA MA PA PA PA was the actual song, then LG would have a strong case. That's not going to happen...
