Japan loves holding on to tropes and their love for pop culture is incredible. Their KFCs had Pokemon toys like it was nothing. Mascots are everywhere. Their subway lines' instructional videos all use anime mascots. Even in their games, they frequently reference other established pop icons/moments. Japan is a different kind of crazy, I think they might be turned off more by Gaga actually changing. But that's just my 5 cents. I'd say though that the teaser really doesn't help because it'll be so different. Yeah it seems like the color scheme of the site will be part of the video.
