I have to admit KP's hits are bops, true, but i hate myself for having contradictory feelings. Then I saw her live and it was the last straw. I HEARD with my own two EARS she can't SING but she can PERFORM and look all pretty and polished with her smoke and mirrors and tits while reciting a karaoke version of the songs I contiuously heard in radio ---and then I just got turned off really really bad. The rest is history and I lived bitterly ever after. THIS!!! You just beautifully put into words what many of us couldn't. Edit: Her roar at the climax of the song "Roar" was pathetically underwhelming. So, i'll just say, I DO NOT LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT HER, from her personality to her vocals to how she tries to pass herself as an artist and as someone with profound artistic thoughts when she couldn't be anything further from what she tries to present herself as. She relies on hit producers/writers to sell music Music videos : Green screens, concepts taken from the comics Katy Keene Appearance : most of her looks are taken from the comics Katy Keene, there's 0 originality in her looks, she's also known for copying a lot of looks As a performer : mediocre to bad, she can't sing, can't dance, relies on big production, some of her performances are taken from Katy Keene again, some of her performances are too strongly inspired by other artists She also piss me off because of some stuff like "I wouldn't die for my fans" (mostly shading Gaga), releasing music/announcing in same time than my faves (ARTPOP/Prism, Make Me/Rise, now Gaga announced Perfect Illusion and she started to talk about new music so it might come soon too...) And there are some persons who said she buys views/followers (many sites reported she has the most fake followers out of everyone that buys them), and radio stations confirmed that they were paid to play Birthday Her whole career is a lie built on stealing and paying and she doesn't even have any talent... She always plays the safe card with mediocre radio friendly pop music which isn't something that catches my interest. I really don't wish her to quit either.
