Yes an NBC Olympics song as well as a song for a soundtrack dictate that you know.... I hope someday this fanbase will get over ARTPOP flopping and bringing in Katy into it.

Tried to sabotage Britney? :laughga:

Make Me's release was pushed back and Rise would have had a release date set for months. You guys try anything to get diss Katy.  Time to step out of 2013 :laughga:

The female MJ will continue for a while. That's all I have to say on this matter.  :firega:

Katharine Hepburn

I think she's in a precarious position and she could loose much of her hold on pop culture if she doesn't deliver on this album cycle.

NBC shut down promo because she performed it at the DNC. It didn't receive much promo at all.

That's true but being realistic a song like that doesn't usually make it to the Top 10 unless you're Adele. It was just a buzz single so people remember that she's coming s00n. Her team really tried to make it a hit though.

You guys need to grow up.

Rise is an exception song, especially from Katy.

This isn't 2011-2013, anymore. Get over yourselves.

She's one of the few pop stars that make Pop music worth it, and listenable.

Grow up?

This is a legitimate question based on a pop star who has been majorly successful and now has a song that didn't perform like this others

It's so strange, I literally can't think of any lyrics or how the song goes in my head. I feel like I haven't heard it on the radio at all :wtf:

I've heard it once.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

A song released for the Olympics released around the Olympics to try to throw Britney off... I am glad my mind will never work like the brains of many individuals here

The song had an ear worm, "oh yee have so little faith" or something like that, but the chorus was almost undetectable :rip:

Lady Gaga

Commercial success (sales) maybe not in years to come of course however she's had an impact on pop culture like Gaga, Whitney, Britney, Christina etc. She's achieved a level of stardom that not a lot have.  She'll be remembered and as i said she wont be going anywhere anytime soon and it's naive to think otherwise.

Okay, I get it...

"Does 'Til It Happens To You's failure foretell Lady Gaga's future?"

It doesn't? Oh, because the song wasn't built to perform for commercial public and slay the charts? and it was meant for motivational/charitable purposes?

It was made for a deeper meaning, than getting another top 10 hit.

:poot: The double standard is real. We're so quick to jump Katy, after 2013, it's unbelievable.

No. Rise's "failure", does not foretell her future.

No idea... Witness sounds like it could be a bop when finished so y'all will have to wait and see.

Witness is honestly my pick for KP4's direction. I've never listened to a KP album, but this could be the first (and last because I don't like her candypop)
