Vaporwave is a music genre and art movement that emerged in the early 2010s among Internet communities. It is characterized by a nostalgic or surrealist fascination with retro cultural aesthetics, mixing genres like new age, indie, witch house, chillwave,lounge, electro, the old (Warren, Elton, Nile Rodgers) with the new (Ronson, Bloodpop, Parker) Vaporwave is characterized by its heavy use of samples from late 70's, '80s like funk and early 2000's music, lounge, smooth jazz, ambient it also has slow sounds, almost hypnotics (Remember what Billboard/Gary Trust said about the some uptempo stuff, some slower stuff) They are also credited with an aesthetic: influences from the cyber punk less aggressive, the most bold from the 80's, New Romantic, by the 90's. The Surf style, Hip-Hop aesthetics of the 80's, Japanese letters , styles of the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's or even current trends such as sunglasses mirror colors, through a mixture of all styles of the 80's of the most colorful and flashy, sometimes with hairstyles. Punk Fashion, New wave more colorful, dark glasses elongated style 80's RayBan. Spoiler The style and colors: Japanese letters, Video retro games, retro brands, neon, pastel, fluor colors, black light or ultraviolet light, laser, fluorescence, Retrofuturism, trips in time, the Rubisk Cube, the Greek sculptures, UFOs and aliens, sports cars, minimalist architecture and elegant retro designs. ❝Is not blue, not turquoise, not lapis. That and synthwave too. Both are amazing!
